Herondale/Kingfisher comprises two purpose-built care homes that are registered for up to 79 residents with nursing and dementia care needs. They are located close to a hospital site in the east Birmingham area of Yardley.
The homes were previously owned by MHA and were brought to market as part of a strategic divestment.
Following a confidential sales process with Paul Reilly at Christie & Co, they have been purchased by Bondcare Group which owns and operates over 70 care and nursing homes across the UK.
Avi Goldstein, Managing Director at Bondcare Group, comments, “We are really pleased to take over Herondale and Kingfisher and bring it into the Bondcare Family, and look forward to working with the local community.”
Paul Reilly, Director – Care at Christie & Co, comments, “Following an open marketing process, these homes attracted many interested parties and resulted in us receiving multiple offers and selling well above the expected guide price.”
Herondale/Kingfisher was sold for an undisclosed price.
