‘Outstanding’ Suffolk day nursery sold for the first time since opening in 2003
Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co, has announced the leasehold sale of Anglia Sunshine Nurseries in Sudbury, Suffolk.
Since opening in 2003, the nursery has steadily grown its occupancy, reputation, and profitability. It received its third consecutive Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ report in 2020 and has been recognised as a ‘Top 20 rated nursery’ in the East of England by daynurseries.co.uk. It can accommodate up to 142 children aged nought to five years, and has a consistent, secure staff team in place.
The nursery is located in an industrial park in Sudbury, Suffolk, and benefits from the extensive development the area has seen and continues to see planned for the coming years.
The setting’s owner, Jacqui Duranti, takes great pride in having built a thriving nursery with the best facilities to give parents peace of mind when leaving their children. Jacqui decided to sell to retire from the sector.
Following a confidential sales process with Sophie Willcox at Christie & Co, it has been purchased by Storal, taking the group to 32 registered settings, which they operate as 29 nurseries, across England.

Jacqui remains the freeholder and she created a lease as part of the sale, which was sold for an undisclosed amount.
