Centrally located in Devizes, a town in the heart of Wiltshire, the store is surrounded by an array of local businesses, pubs and the town museum, and therefore benefits from the area’s high footfall and tourist trade.
Brittox News was previously owned by Dipak Patel, who sold the business to focus on his other store in a different location. The business has been purchased by Thuraisingam Yogamoorthy, an experienced operator within the retail sector, who has plans to refurbish the store in the near future and include an off-license.
Joe Brayne, Business Agent at Christie & Co, who handled the sale, comments, “It was a pleasure working with both the buyer and seller on the transaction of Brittox News. I’m very pleased for the new owner, and I am looking forward to seeing how they improve the store with some great ideas very soon.”
