The Chace is a well-established, reputable residential and dementia care home that is registered for up to 41 residents. The home is located in a semi-rural area overlooking the beautiful Worcestershire countryside in Great Malvern, a popular Worcestershire town that, in March 2023, was named by The Sunday Times as one of the best places to live in the Midlands.
The business has been owned by Anthony Reeley and his family for over 40 years. Following a confidential sales process with Paul Reilly at Christie & Co, it has been purchased by SpringCare Limited which has an existing portfolio of 15 homes spread across the midlands and north of England.
Anthony Reeley, former owner of The Chace Care Home, comments “After 40 years of family ownership and growing up there from a child, I decided it was time to move on. When I met SpringCare it was obvious they were the ‘right fit’ and shared the same passion as myself for delivering the highest standards of care. I know they will elevate the home to the next level and continue to have the best reputation in the Worcestershire area.”
Lee Cox, Director at SpringCare, comments, “We are delighted to have completed our purchase of The Chace Care Home and look forward to welcoming all the staff and residents to the SpringCare Group. SpringCare has owned care homes for over 23 years and Anthony can rest assured that we have the skills and knowledge to build on the strong reputation he has already built. I wish Anthony and his family all the very best for the future.”
Paul Reilly, Director – Care at Christie & Co, comments, “The home has a great local reputation and, having been a family-run concern for many years, we wanted to find the right buyers for Anthony and his family. I was pleased to sell to Lee and his wife at SpringCare, who I’m sure will take the home to further success.
“This sale illustrates that the demand we’re seeing for great quality businesses remains strong across Worcestershire and the West Midlands.”
The Chace Care Home was sold for an undisclosed price.
