Jean-Christophe joined Christie & Co in 2002 and his vast experience of the transactional market, working with both private and institutional clients, made him an ideal candidate for the role of Head of Brokerage - Hotels France. This new role will develop and secure Christie & Co’s position as the leading transational player in the French hotel market.

Guillaume joins Christie & Co from IKORY, where he was Head of Asset Management. He will be in charge of defining the French team’s business objectives; focusing on the strategic growth of the company and the development of other alternative assets, whilst supporting the team spread across the five French offices.

Carine Bonnejean, Managing Director - Hotels at Christie & Co comments, “We are delighted that Guillaume has joined us to manage Christie & Co France. It is going to be a very prolific year for the hotel transactional market in France and Guillaume’s extensive experience in real estate and asset management will undoubtedly bring a new strategic angle to our activity in the region. He will work closely with Jean-Christophe, our new Head of Brokerage Hotels - France and the rest of the team, as well as with many institutional funds that are actively looking at the hospitality sector.”

Guillaume adds, “I am very happy to join Christie & Co and look forward to working with such a seasoned team in the hotels market. In such fast-changing economic, financial and societal environments, our ambition is to consolidate Christie & Co’s position within the French hotel market but also to diversify into specialist markets. The presence of Christie & Co on national and European territories combined with its expertise and agility will be the key to our collective success. I want to thank Christie & Co and Carine, in particular, for the trust placed in me to take charge of the France team and put my experience to use for the benefit of all.”

Guillaume Garcin holds a Master’s degree in Notarial Real Estate Law from the University of Aix-Marseille and a Master's degree in Asset and Real Estate Management from KEDGE Business School. He began his career in 2010 as a real estate lawyer before joining CBRE Global Investors in 2014 as Asset Manager, managing and selling a 25-building residential portfolio to Patrizia France, which he joined with the portfolio in 2015. In 2019, he continued his career at Colliers Global Investors as Associate Director Investment & Asset Management. In 2021, he became Head of Asset Management at IKORY.
