Christie & Co appoints Alberto Martin as the new Associate Director of Investment in its Spain & Portugal team
Specialist European hotel adviser, Christie & Co has appointed Alberto Martín as the new Associate Director of Investment, covering Spain and Portugal.

Alberto Martín, a renowned professional with extensive experience in the hotel investment and tourism sectors, will work from Christie & Co’s Barcelona office, alongside a team of hotel real estate investment experts, to drive the expansion of the department and support the growing demand and needs of the market.
Alberto holds a Master’s degree in Hotel Real Estate Investments and Asset Management from Cornell University, an MBA from Fundesem Business School and has been involved in numerous projects since he started in the tourism sector almost 20 years ago.
Prior to joining Christie & Co, he was a Founding Partner of Gestintur, a company specialising in hotel investments. Previously, he worked in the Expansion Department of RH Hotels and held the position of General Manager at JM Hotels. In recent years, Alberto has also led several projects as an entrepreneur, including several training projects and his most recent podcast, The Suite Guest. Since 2020, he has held the position of Senior Director of the Superior Program of Management and Investment in Hospitality and since 2019, he has held the position of Trainer at Alicante Tourism Centre.
