Situated in the coastal town of Boddam, Peterhead, Loopty Lou's and Infinity Gym provide an excellent opportunity for a new owner to acquire two highly profitable leisure businesses, with the ability for expansion.

Loopty Lou's is a purpose-built soft play and family entertainment centre for kids aged 0-12 years old and is the largest soft play venue in the North East of Scotland. The business features a main play area designed by SPI Global Play Ltd, a café and seating area, an outdoor play area and an events room for up to 45 people. Since the business opened in 2017,  it has become a popular go-to destination for both local and travelling families and is a highly popular venue for children’s birthday parties.

Located on the same site, Infinity Gym is open to adults aged 16 and above and features top-of-the-range gym equipment by Technogym. Infinity Gym also offers personal training sessions and a variety of fitness classes for members and non-members. Outside the main gym, there is also an AstroTurf area, which is shared by both businesses, providing space for outdoor fitness training as well as kids' football parties and outdoor play for Loopty Lou's.

Both businesses are owned by Jason Stephens, who comments, “Having initially opened the soft play eight years ago, we have continuously expanded and built the business into the success it is today. Over the years, we have made several additions, including a football AstroTurf area, an outdoor play area, a new gym business, and a gym extension.

“Although both businesses still have the potential for significant growth, we feel that after eight years of dedication, it is now time for fresh ideas and new creative owners to take over. Additionally, our family life is changing, and we believe it is the right time for us to move on.”

Mark Lavery, Associate Director at Christie & Co, who is handling the sale, comments, “This business gives any new owner the opportunity to own and grow an already highly profitable business. We expect a high level of interest in this unique opportunity.”
