Located on Chatterton Road in Bromley, South London, Fireball Pizza opened in 2015 and built up a loyal customer base under its current owner-operators, with strong reviews and an established reputation within the community. The family-friendly restaurant offers dine-in as well as takeaway service and has proved very profitable, attracting local trade and those visiting from surrounding villages and neighbourhoods.

The owners, Paul and James Hopkins, operated the restaurant as a family business, however after nearly ten years at the helm, they are letting the property to explore other interests. They commented: “Having run a successful business in our local community for a decade, our changing family set-up led us to seek new challenges. It was important for us to find a tenant who has a desire to continue and develop our concept, focussed on high quality wood fired pizza. Christie & Co’s expertise in the restaurant sector made them a clear choice for us to work with. We wish our friends from Anima every success in their exciting new venture!”

Fireball Pizza has been let to Michael Nardi, a local businessman whose family are experienced restaurateurs from Naples, the birthplace of pizza. The restaurant will be renamed ‘Anima Pizzeria’ and Michael said: “Opening Anima Pizzeria at 8 Chatterton Road in Bromley is not just an investment in a business, but in a legacy that began in Italy. It's a continuation of tradition, now spreading its roots and warmth to a new community. It’s a place where every meal tells a story, and every table brings people closer together.”

David Wilson, Associate Director at Christie & Co who managed the sale of the new lease, commented: “We are thrilled to complete the sale of this new lease at Fireball Pizza. While there will be a change of name, the business will continue to offer dine-in and takeaway pizza to the local community under the new owner. This family business is transferring to good hands, and I expect the new business to thrive and provide a sustainable investment for the landlord.”
