Heartwood Inns acquire a further two restaurants from Whitbread through Christie & Co

The acquisitions will see the George & Dragon, a traditional riverside site in Marlow, serving traditional food favourites with a friendly heritage feel; and the Red Lion, a stylish community location featuring a large beer garden in Stratford upon Avon, join Heartwood’s fast-growing portfolio.
Heartwood has now acquired four sites from Whitbread through Christie & Co, with the expanding hospitality group having also purchased the Foresters in Chingford and The Manor Inn, Godalming earlier this year. Both properties are set to undergo multi-million pound refurbishments.
