Successful west Cornwall childcare business sold to growing family-run group

Established in 1997, Hopscotch Day Nursery is a highly successful business that provides “quality full, part and casual childcare from three months to 10 years”. It operates from a traditional, former school building on Bodriggy Street in Hayle, west Cornwall.
The setting was previously owned by Tracey and Alan Matthews who decided to sell to enable them to retire from the sector.
Following a confidential sales process with Rachel Godwin at Christie & Co, it has been purchased by family-run group, Naturally Learning Ltd, marking the business’s seventh setting.
