Little Explorers Nursery is an established day nursery setting which caters for up to 150 children at any one time. It occupies an impressive, purpose-built property with ample room both inside and outside and a large, well-equipped outdoor play area. The ethos of the nursery is to work closely with parents to provide tailored care to each child, ensuring their wellbeing, development, and progress within a home-from-home environment.
The setting is positioned on the edge of an industrial park, with excellent roadside frontage on one of the two roads out of Gosport, making it ideal for parents living in Gosport but working in other parts of the county.
Little Explorers was established in 1998 as the Vicarage Nursery which operated from a different property on Elmhurst Road under different ownership. The sellers took the opportunity to take the business to new heights by acquiring it in 2012. Both owners have extensive experience owning businesses and utilised their skills to turn the nursery into the thriving business it is today.
The nursery was recently brought to market to allow the owners to focus on other business ventures outside the sector.
Following a confidential sales process facilitated by Sophie Willcox at Christie & Co, the business has been purchased by a boutique nursery group.
