Christie & Co announces new Head of Pharmacy as Tony Evans retires

After 36 years with the company, Tony Evans, Christie & Co’s Director and Head of Pharmacy, has announced his retirement from the business, to take effect at the end of 2024. Instrumental in the development of the company's pharmacy business in 2010, Tony has led the team to great success, establishing it as the UK's leading pharmacy brokerage.

Tony has decided to take early retirement to spend more time with his family in Australia, and will be succeeded by fellow Director, Jonathan Board, who will formally assume the position as the Head of Pharmacy in January 2025.

Having worked alongside Tony for over 20 years, with the last 15 years developing the pharmacy side of the business, I am excited to announce that we will look to further expand the team and service offering over the next few months. I, along with the rest of our team, wish Tony all the best in his well-earned early retirement.”

I am delighted to be succeeded by Jonathan Board who has collaborated tirelessly with me over the past 15 years in expanding and delivering the service we offer today.”
