Hallmark Luxury Care Homes acquires purpose-built Cardiff care home
Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co, has announced the sale of Penylan House Nursing Home in Cardiff to Hallmark Luxury Care Homes.

Built in 2013, Penylan House comprises 75 bedrooms with 100 per cent wet room facilities, and provides care for residential and nursing clients.
The luxury nursing home was previously owned by Linc, which merged with Pobl in April 2024. The sale of Penylan House forms part of the group’s wider disposal of its care portfolio, including Capel Grange in Newport and Ty Coch in Cardiff, both of which are under offer.
Following a marketing process undertaken by Rob Kinsman at Christie & Co, award-winning provider, Hallmark Luxury Care Homes, was selected as the preferred bidder. The acquisition marks a key milestone in the group’s growth strategy and sees Hallmark continue its long-term investment in Cardiff following the acquisition of a care home development site in St Mellons in the Spring of 2024, also brokered by Christie & Co.

Penylan House Nursing Home was sold for an undisclosed sum.
