Christie & Co publishes Vienna Accommodation Market Report, revealing new trends and record figures
Specialist business property adviser Christie & Co has published a new report highlighting the impressive accommodation figures for Vienna in 2024.

With 18.9 million overnight stays, 2024 was a record year for the Viennese accommodation market – an increase of 9.3% compared to the previous year. These figures underscore Vienna's international appeal, with nearly 80% of arrivals coming from international markets. December was particularly notable with over 2 million overnight stays.
Hotels in Vienna recorded 15.4 million overnight stays in 2024, an increase of 2.4% in hotel sector accommodations compared to 2019. The overall growth in room nights during this period shows an increase from 17.6 million to 18.9 million, an impressive growth of 7.2%.
A remarkable increase was seen in serviced apartments, which accounted for 83.5% of the total increase in overnight stays compared to 2023. The luxury and upper-upscale segment also showed positive development, with an increase in RevPAR by 8% compared to the previous year.
