About Bonchon

Born in Busan, South Korea in 2002 by Jinduk Seo, Bonchon "My Hometown" in Korean, is the passion of Mr. Seo who dreamt of sharing the favourite flavours of his hometown with the world.

For several years, Mr. Seo obsessively perfected Bonchon’s signature sauces and fried chicken before launching in NYC in 2006. Since then, the brand has become a household name. From the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, and into the U.S., the Bonchon franchise continues to expand around the world, now with over 420 international locations and rapid growth in the U.S.
